The snow is falling, and the battlefield is about to freeze over as Call of Duty: Mobile welcomes players to Season 11: Winter War 2. Embrace the chill with a frosty new lineup of game modes, weapons, events, and rewards that celebrate the holiday spirit with a fierce edge. Whether you’re hunting down enemies or transforming into holiday décor, this season brings something for every kind of Operator looking to dominate in the cold.
Launching on December 11 at 4 PM PT, Winter War 2 is more than just a seasonal update—it’s a full-scale return of the Winter War event with fresh twists and surprises. Players can dive into the all-new Demolition mode, take part in zany limited-time matches like Big Head Blizzard and Winter Prop Hunt, and unlock an avalanche of themed rewards through events, the Battle Pass, and the Challenge HQ.
Demolition is making its Call of Duty: Mobile debut just in time for the holidays. This fast-paced Multiplayer mode pits two teams against one another in a tug-of-war over two bomb sites. Attackers must plant and detonate explosives at both sites, while defenders work to prevent them. With respawns enabled, the mode keeps things dynamic and high-octane. Should both teams succeed in a round, a final tie-breaker round will decide the match.
Returning fan-favorite limited-time modes are also back to add some festive fun to the fight. Big Head Blizzard takes over the snowy Summit map, where every elimination inflates your Operator’s head. Rack up enough streaks and you’ll morph into a bobblehead warrior with a melee weapon and boosted health. Traditional healing is off the table—teamwork is key, as you’ll need to shoot allies to restore their health. With limited respawns, strategy is everything.
In Winter Prop Hunt, players can embrace their inner snowman—or perhaps a holiday present or a sparkling tree. This seasonal favorite transforms Operators into winter-themed props, challenging players to hide or hunt in a high-stakes game of hide-and-seek. It’s only around for the holidays, so jump in before it melts away.
The holiday festivities continue with themed events offering exclusive rewards. The Winter Event lets players assemble a Legendary reskin for the Purifier Operator Skill, styled with a striking green-and-black color scheme and a central coolant line running across its chassis. You’ll need to gather all the pieces through gameplay to complete the design.
Other events like Decorate the Tree and Winter Wish bring even more festive flair. Decorate your tree and unlock the PP19 Bizon — Sleighliner, an epic weapon blueprint, along with other rare goodies. Meanwhile, Winter Wish serves up powerful blueprints such as the ASM10 — Leonine Guardian and Fennec — Lair of Ice, making sure you’re well-armed for whatever the season throws your way.
Of course, no season is complete without a feature-packed Battle Pass. Season 11’s Winter War 2 Battle Pass is full of new Operator Skins, Weapon Blueprints, Calling Cards, and a cache of Call of Duty Points to fuel your future purchases.
On the free tiers, players can earn the RAAL MG, a powerful new LMG known for its firepower and high capacity. Also available is the Douser Tactical Grenade, a game-changing piece of equipment that neutralizes ground-based hazards like Thermite, Cryo Bombs, and other area denial tools. These rewards are joined by various skins, Vault Coins, and more.
Opting for the Premium Pass unlocks a frosty lineup of anti-heroes suited for subzero warfare. Get your hands on cold-themed Operator Skins such as Ruin — Ullr, Wraith — Ice Bane, a unique version of Tae Young, and American Bulldog — Jokul. Equip yourself with chilling Weapon Blueprints like the DLQ33 — Longbow, Krig 6 — Runic Rage, KN-44 — Frosted Forge, Echo — Viking Vessel, and a frigid take on the new RAAL MG dubbed Frozen Fortress.
Upgrade to the Ground Forces subscription, and you’ll receive monthly bonuses including extra XP, crate pull discounts, and more. This month’s exclusive rewards include Beck — Icy Road, the RUS-79U — Polar Frenzy, and a winter-themed Backpack — Polar Prepared, perfect for trekking through snow-covered kill zones.
The Challenge Pass returns to offer yet another path to rewards. By completing a variety of missions across the Standard, Special, and Elite categories, players earn Challenge Tokens to spend on festive items in the Exchange. Highlights include Charly — Chilled and Cozy, a seasonal Operator Skin, and a retro-themed UAV reskin that fits perfectly with the vintage holiday vibe.
Keep your eye on the in-game Events tab to stay updated on new missions and objectives throughout the season. For an overview of your seasonal progress and goals, don’t forget to check out the Mission Board from the main menu.
Winter War 2 also delivers a flurry of new content to the in-game Store. Leading the charge is the icy new Legendary Operator Fiona St. George, dressed in regal blue with a snow queen aesthetic and an arsenal to match. Her signature weapon, the Dobvra — Yggdrasil Pistol, brings the power of winter to your sidearm collection. Together, they form the Fiona St. George — Eternal Blizzard bundle.
Meanwhile, Manta Ray brings holiday cheer in red-and-white tactical gear, accompanied by a dazzling Legendary AK-47 that lights up the battlefield. Other Lucky Draws this season feature chilling takes on familiar faces like Witch Doctor and Grinch, plus Legendary versions of the RAAL MG and Locus Sniper Rifle.
As a special treat, the 12 Days of Deals begins mid-December, offering rotating discounts on Lucky Draws and featured Store content. You’ll also get to weigh in on an upcoming Mythic Weapon Fan Vote, giving players a say in which Mythic Weapon and Legendary Operator will receive special discounts.
Rounding out the festivities is the return of Season 8 — 2nd Anniversary content to the Battle Pass Vault. Now’s your chance to reclaim classics like Price — Bravo 6 and General Shepherd, along with other anniversary-themed rewards that defined one of Call of Duty: Mobile’s most iconic seasons.
This holiday season, it’s time to fight fire with ice. The Winter War 2 is back—gear up, brave the storm, and prove you’re the last one standing when the snow settles.
